MyBestYears.com is an increasingly popular provider of insight, information, interviews and inspiration for men
and women who are excited about being older, wiser, healthier and better!
We are increasingly highly rated by Seasoned Seniors™ and our features and eColumns are indexed
instantly by both Yahoo, Google, MSN and other major Internet search engines.
Why such an emphasis by major international Internet companies on men and women over fifty, and
why are more and more visionary companies seeking to pinpoint this attractive, growing demographic
group?
The numbers speak for themselves.
- As Baby Boomers reach retirement age, the nation prepares for a doubling of its older population
during the next 25 years.
- By 2030, one in five Americans will be older than 65—that's one in five consumers and one in five
investors.
- The number of people over 85 will triple by 2040.
- Already the blossoming over-fifty population of all nations is a growing marketplace force with more time
to shop and travel, greater discretionary income, and a newfound thirst for life as Seasoned Seniors™.
- Over-fifty Web surfers are the fastest growing Internet market!
- During the last four years, boomers and seniors who surf online has jumped by a whopping 50-
percent!
- Nearly a quarter of all Americans who are retirement age or older now have access to the
Internet, up 15% from only five years ago.
- That means that 8 million Americans over 65 use the Internet.
MyBestYears.com was uniquely designed and is now carefully positioned to provide the features and
eColumns that over-fifty men and women desire most.
Therefore, this is one of the prime places to advertise if you seek to market to increasingly active, fulfilled and
informed Seasoned Seniors.

DOES INTERNET ADVERTISING
WORK?
In a word, YES!
Okay, six words...Internet
Advertising Overcomes Radio
Ad Sales!
In fact, a recent online advertising
study found that Internet
advertising is soaring so fast this
year it’s expected to exceed the
amount marketers spend on radio
advertising.
The study by the Interactive
Advertising Bureau and
PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC,
shows a marked upturn in
Internet ad spending during
the first quarter of this year,
rising to a staggering $5 billion!
In addition, the study found that the
quarterly spending was a record
for the industry, and Internet
advertising growth is surpassing
records set by TV and cable in
their early years.
"The new record was set despite
sluggish advertising spending in
traditional media during the same
time period,” Richard Bernstein,
Merrill Lynch chief investment
strategist, wrote in a message to
clients.
Internet ad spending now
accounts for almost 6 percent
of total U.S. ad spending, up
from 4.7 percent in 2005.
Still, there is tremendous room for
growth in ad spending. The study
found advertisers were having
tremendous success in lead
generation online.
